Peer Review Process

We take great pride in our rigorous peer review process, which ensures that all articles published in our journal meet the highest standards of quality and scholarship. Our process is designed to ensure that all articles receive fair and impartial evaluation by qualified experts in the field.

Submission Process: To submit an article for consideration in Lampyrid Journal, authors should submit their manuscript through our online submission system. The manuscript should include a cover letter outlining the significance of the research and why it is suitable for publication in our journal, as well as a list of suggested reviewers.

Initial Screening: All submissions to Lampyrid Journal undergo an initial screening process to ensure that they meet our basic requirements for publication. This includes a check for plagiarism, a review of the formatting and structure of the manuscript, and an assessment of its suitability for our journal. Submissions that do not meet these requirements will be rejected at this stage.

Peer Review Process: Manuscripts that pass the initial screening process will be sent for peer review. We follow a double-blind review process, in which the identities of the authors and reviewers are not revealed to each other. We also ensure that reviewers have no conflicts of interest with the authors or their research.

Reviewers are selected based on their expertise in the field and their ability to provide constructive feedback to the authors. They are asked to evaluate the manuscript based on its originality, significance, methodology, results, and conclusions. Reviewers are given a deadline for completing their review and are asked to provide a written report outlining their feedback and recommendations for the manuscript.

Based on the reviewers' feedback, the editor-in-chief will make a decision on whether to accept, reject, or request revisions to the manuscript. If revisions are requested, the authors will have the opportunity to revise and resubmit their manuscript. The revised manuscript will be sent for another round of peer review if necessary.

Final Decision: The editor-in-chief will make the final decision on whether to accept or reject the manuscript based on the feedback from the reviewers and the quality of the revised manuscript (if applicable). The author will be notified of the decision and provided with any feedback from the reviewers.

Publication: Accepted manuscripts will be published in the next available issue of Lampyrid Journal. The author will receive a final proof of their manuscript before publication to ensure that all errors are corrected.

We take pride in our rigorous peer review process and are committed to providing our readers with high-quality, original research. We encourage authors to submit their best work to Lampyrid Journal and look forward to reviewing your submissions.
